“Taking Seriously God’s Heart for People”
Tak Bhana with his wife, Adrienne, have been the senior pastors of West City Christian Centre (WCCC), in Auckland, New Zealand since 1988. WCCC is a large multi-cultural church, with members from about fifty nations.
Tak and Adrienne have had 27 years experience in leadership and ministry, including 3 years as missionaries in Cebu City in the Philippines. They have a heart for nations and have developed a church with a strong emphasis on missions. Their dream is to send many missionaries from the church into the harvest fields of the world.
They want to see the church grow, but their passion is to see communities and nations turn to Jesus Christ to such an extent that there is a significant increase in the number of Christians in the nation. They believe that New Zealand and other nations can be hugely impacted for Jesus through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit. They expect to see a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit on New Zealand and the nations in their lifetime, an outpouring that will transform our society.
