Dr. Robert Jeffress is the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, accepting God’s call to this historic congregation in August, 2007. Prior to that Dr. Jeffress was pastor of the First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, Texas, for 15 years.
He is a graduate of Baylor University (B.S.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M), and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.).
Dr. Jeffress is the author of sixteen books including The Solomon Secrets (a 2002 Medallion Finalist), Hell? Yes!, When Forgivness Doesn’t Make Sense, and his newest book Second Chance, Second Act.
In August 2006, Dr. Jeffress was honored as a hero of the faith by Vision America’s distinguished “Daniel Award” for his steadfast commitment and boldness in proclaiming the uncompromising Word of God.
Dr. Jeffress hosts a television program, PATHWAY TO VICTORY, and teaches a daily sermon series which is aired on 1,200 television stations and cable systems throughout the nation and in 28 countries around the world. PATHWAY TO VICTORY is also aired on dozens of radio stations throughout the nation.
Dr. Jeffress and his wife Amy have two daughters, Julia and Dorothy.
